This information is being posted to inform the public that due to the redesign of
the 2018 federal Form 1040, and elimination of federal Forms 1040A and 1040EZ,
Wisconsin is not developing Forms 1A and WI-Z for the 2018 tax year. All resident
taxpayers will file on Form 1, and nonresident and part-year resident taxpayers
will file on Form 1NPR.

Form WI-Z is a Wisconsin Individual Income Tax form. Like the Federal Form 1040, states each provide a core tax return form on which most high-level income and tax calculations are performed. About the Individual Income Tax
